Tonight was Lazar's friday Shadake game, which was spent mostly in (IC) preparations for The Final Battle. One way or another, things should be coming to an end soon.

When I got home, I discovered a bunch (two trucks worth) of Puget Sound Energy workers doing... something to my apartment building. A few minutes later, they switched off power to half my apartment (it's on two different circuits). Including my cable, VCR, microwave, and alarm clock, but not the outlet where I normally plug in my laptop. Yay, I get to reset all my clocks, and call in to get my cable reactivated again, once they finish, if they ever do -- it's still not on, properly.
And SOMETHING is beeping incessantly. Grrr.
EDIT: The cable box is fried, and won't be fixed until Tuesday. Meanwhile, I have 17 channels of crap, including none of the channels I ever watch.
