A plaintive plea...
Sep. 17th, 2003 05:30 pmThe group as a whole met its goal early this week, so we're not really being encouraged by management to stay late, but my team hasn't met its team goal, which means that if we all leave, K the PGM won't get to have M the dev take a week off and write his pet feature.
Earlier this week K went around offering to bribe the devs to work extra hard and make sure we got enough ahead of the game to let the feature get in, but really... I wasn't sure what I'd even ask for, that would be within the bounds of reason and (more restrictively) within his power to give. He's not anywhere in the chain of command to give us money or comp time, for example, and the people who are would just as soon not do the feature.
So, should I stay or should I go?
I'll probably stay at least for a while. Until I start *seriously* jonesing for Disgaea, which has been eating up all free time for the past week or so.
