[shakeshakeshake] Ugh. It's nice outside, but inside the office where I work it's *cold* -- they have the air conditioner on full blast, or something. I've got a little space heater that I run to counteract it, but sometimes I forget to turn it on, and I'll find myself gradually shutting down from the lack of heat, until I wake from a chilled stupor, turn on the heater, and huddle by it for fifteen minutes or so while it warms the office up.
Being cold's always done that to me. I lived most of my childhood in that near-coma state, or wrapped up in blankets and sweaters trying to avoid it -- my parents were poor enough to be miserly with the heat, and the furnace in the house where I grew up was crappy anyway.
It's especially aggravating NOW, though, since it's deliberate on someone's part. They're spending money to make me uncomfortable.
