Wow, what an awful and inappropriate abbreviation for a movie title. That's the first thing I thought seeing it on the movie list at Crossroads. It really isn't a movie that wants an XTREME acronym-thingie.

It's also not an especially good movie, although it stayed reasonably faithful to the spirit of the comic books. Which aren't especially good either.

I saw it with the sunday movie gather thing which I could finally go to this week after like a month. I guess that's not all that less often than normal, since every other week is D+D instead.

It was a pretty low turnout this week... let's see...

Jurran was there, plugging http://www.furbuy.com/, his furry auction site.

Odius was there, mostly being cute. Mostly with DJ. He had a neat shirt with a stick-figure roo on it. He also played some tracks from this CD he's planning to put together and sell... I can't really say if it's good or bad 'cause it's not the kind of music I like, so it all sounds the same to me.

DJ was there too, also being extremely cute, especially when she started putting on a puppet show for Longtail's kids with her foxie-backpack.

Oscar was there, just for the movie mostly. After the movie he led us into the pet shop, where Jurran got distracted watching the caged rats until long after he'd finished... I think he would have stayed in there 'till closing if people weren't waiting. @.@

Longtail and Keifer and Tasho and... er... someone else that was with Tasho stopped by but didn't go to the movie. Longtail brought his kids, which were cute. Most kids aren't cute at that age. Most kids are goddamn annoying. But his were relatively quiet and not overly shy and could speak well enough that you could understand them. Pretty impressive.

Tasho had a lovely spotty tail, although he seemed to be having technical difficulties with it, and Keifer had bright blue-green hair! Yeep. O.O

Now, I'm going to continue eating cherries.
