BOFV and AC2
Feb. 21st, 2003 12:56 pmGot Breath of Fire V for the PS2... it's... um... yeah. I don't know. I already lost once, but I get the impression you're supposed to lose a few times and start over. It's sort of how you level up.
The game is designed to make you lose. The only way to recover health is with medkits. They don't recover much health -- from killing six enemies you might be able to afford a kit that'll heal the effect of one enemy hitting you once, assuming all six enemies dropped coins. So I'm guessing bypassing enemies is the name of the game? Although of course that means no XP.
Someone called it 'Survival Horror RPG'. Not entirely inaccurate.
Also played quite a bit of ( AC2. )
