Hmm... maybe...

It's been a long time since I read the Chronicles of Narnia, but I should still have the boxed set lying around somewhere. I wonder if it's still as good as I remember, or if it'll be like the old Piers Anthony books I go back and hate?

Work-and-other-oholic

Last night we worked late. I ended up going home a bit after 9:30, actually, which wasn't too late, since we'd met both the group and team goals, and I was starting to feel zombified. Normally it doesn't get cut out 'till midnight... god, I don't know how I'd manage that if this week wasn't a fluke. Might just leave anyway.

So since that didn't work out, instead I spent the morning watching some of the new Zoids DVD that finally arrived from Amazon. They brought back Raven! And the Geno-saurer! Sort of. Also have two seasons of Blackadder, one season of Lexx, and season one of Angel to watch when I have time. AND! Dark Cloud 2 and Breath of Fire V are coming out for the PS2 today (last I heard)!

But I'm still addicted to AC2, so when am I ever going to have time to watch and play them?

Well, I just got kicked off AC2 and was unable to log back on. I need another 7000 xp to make 25th. I'm starting to think that this isn't instability in my ISP or AC2's servers -- although superficially, it looks like both are unstable -- I think the game is programmed never to let me get to 25th level.

You see, when I logged on tonight, hoping to finally get to 25th, I had 15000 xp to go. And the night before (well, okay, three nights before, but the last significant session before) I started with 30000 to go and got down to 15000 before getting kicked off and not being able to get back on. And the session before THAT I had about 60000 to go, although that time it ended because I had to go to bed.

Current vitae: 95%. Current level: 24.9. No beetle yet.

I've never gotten 25th level in any MMORPG I've ever played. I always get to 24 and stall.

So. No AC2. What now? The games I thought would be in today are actually coming in next week. So I guess that means DVDs... after checking my e-mail for the first time since Monday, and filling out a character sheet for the new Traveller char.
