Video Game Rambling

Last night's D+D game was cancelled due to DM being swamped with work, so I was able to do the Spindizzy story circle instead... it went better than it normally does, and we ended up with a silly (but nearly coherent) story about a muck RP written in first person sort-of-IC.

I finally got past Aristotle in Rygar while only using up one of my healing thingies... I could probably do better (I was just a *sliver* from not using any at all!) but afterwards I scoured the whole gameworld looking for secrets and found a couple, and I don't want to do that over again. So now I have to kill my mother.

The game *seriously* looks almost over, at about the 5 hour mark. Kind of a bummer. Maybe I'm wrong? There's also an 'infinite dungeon of pitched battles' that I only went down to the first treasure chest in, I suppose.

Not that I don't still have a stack of old games to play. E.G.G. for the Dreamcast turned out to be too scratched to load anything except the first town, though.

Deadbunny

Apparently, Oolong the pancake bunny died. He was famous for letting people put stuff on his head (such as delicious pancakes).

I can't help thinking, couldn't they just have gotten him freeze dried and continued to balance things on his head and take pictures? Why did they need to let the news out and make everyone sad? What thoughtless people.

Fourth form

Grumble grumble. Micr -- er, my employer compensates its employees partially with stock options and the ability to buy stock at a discount. While this is nice and all, compared to nothing, it's so damn annoying, especially when to save money they decide to keep changing the brokerage that manages everything.

The latest brokerage -- the fourth since I've worked here -- has a huge-ass form to fill out, with all sorts of required information that I not only don't have on hand, but don't really know how to get (although I suppose it probably says somewhere in the twenty page intruction manual for the form). And since they've already transferred over all my ESPP stocks into the account, I can't just not set it up.

This would be less annoying if there was a reasonable chance that I'd *actually use* the account before they switched to whatever comes next. I never used the previous two.

I hate money. No, that doesn't mean you can have mine. Not having money means you have to think about it even more. /:3
