Video Game Rambling
Jan. 8th, 2003 11:16 amLast night's D+D game was cancelled due to DM being swamped with work, so I was able to do the Spindizzy story circle instead... it went better than it normally does, and we ended up with a silly (but nearly coherent) story about a muck RP written in first person sort-of-IC.
I finally got past Aristotle in Rygar while only using up one of my healing thingies... I could probably do better (I was just a *sliver* from not using any at all!) but afterwards I scoured the whole gameworld looking for secrets and found a couple, and I don't want to do that over again. So now I have to kill my mother.
The game *seriously* looks almost over, at about the 5 hour mark. Kind of a bummer. Maybe I'm wrong? There's also an 'infinite dungeon of pitched battles' that I only went down to the first treasure chest in, I suppose.
Not that I don't still have a stack of old games to play. E.G.G. for the Dreamcast turned out to be too scratched to load anything except the first town, though.
