Return to the Vicinity of the Temple of Elemental Evil

Tonight was Tom's RttToEE game, wherein the party attempted to retreat and regroup for a few days. Depite being pestered by evil, the attempt was a qualified success, with only one casualty.

So basically, the whole day was spent shopping. Boring, boring, but necessary, since trying to do this stuff in e-mail never works. Although the negotiation between the players is supposed to be done in e-mail, which may be difficult as the others in the game only know my work e-mail, which I wasn't planning on checking this week. Maybe I *will* go in Tuesday.

Pet peeve

You know, hypothetically, there could be a machine that, even though it existed only in theory, could materialize theoretical concepts in the real world. And in principle, there's no reason they couldn't show up in my living room.

So why haven't they? I feel cheated.
