I've been playing Wild Arms 3, but it's a little... perverse, and I can't really get into it. The battle system is wonky, the merchants are wonky, the equipment system is wonky, the world map setup is wonky, and the whole game just makes me want to... well, to stop playing it after an hour or so.

So I turned on Enterprise after watching my taped cartoons, but it was an hour before it started, and That 70's Show was on. I like 'That 70's Show', but I can't really *watch* it, if you know what I mean, and I wasn't in the mood to sit on the couch and read a book while 'watching' it.

So I decided to drive to the mall to buy 'Syberia', which I'd heard was good. The mall is depressing lately, because of the way Hasbro is methodically gutting WotC. The front 2/3rds of the store is full of stupid crap hasbro and milton bradley games, mostly based on Star Wars or Harry Potter, and the WotC stuff is relegated to a couple shelves tucked in the back corner. I hate Hasbro. IWTBIU.

But I finally found the game I was looking for (at Software Etc., of course, WotC doesn't sell video games anymore, although that's a *good* thing because they were never any good at it) hidden behind a stack of some 'Sims' expansion.

On the way home, I decided that the boredom I was feeling was probably a sign of low blood sugar affecting my mood. It does that, and it's really aggravating. My set point plays dirty. So I stopped at Safeway on the wy home and got a couple pizza sticks and some ice cream.

Of course, this made me miss the first half of Enterprise, and I accidentally left the game I'd bought in the car. But the second half is always the best anyway.

Later, I tried to play Wild Arms 3, but it was too godawful boring, and I had to reload to a much earlier save because the stupid merchant doesn't hang around for you to go back to if you run out of disease cure items (and there aren't any disease cure spells!). So I went ahead and did a little writing on the next part of the World Tree story, which has been giving me problems. I think I'm getting closer to fixing it... I edited out a fight scene that didn't really make any sense. I'm still not sure I like it, though.

I just spent the last half hour re-introducing an old bug into new code because it's now perceived as a feature. Sometimes I love my job. -.-

Hey!
