Tuesday's Gray
Nov. 13th, 2002 01:02 amI don't particularly like the idea of constantly sounding whiny and/or depressive, but today was damned annoying. I was VERY late for work, which combined with people asking for my help and my lead stopping by for his '1-on-1' to reduce my productivity for the day to 0. The topic of the hour-long 1-on-1, which destroyed the last chance I had to accomplish anything, was how we were totally swamped with work and needed to be more efficient, but were probably still doomed.
The reason I couldn't even stay late was ( Lance's D+D game. )
After the game, I watched the tape of Zoids and Buffy... both were pretty good, although Zoids was being a leeeetle too derivative of Robotech IMO. Buffy was hilarious, though.
Then, I logged on, and yay! My sister finally sent me her new address. Pity my printer stopped working, although it turned out to actually be the passthrough for my scanner, which I sort of forgot existed. It's been... what, three years since I've scanned anything? Still a bummer not to be able to use it anymore.
Oh, and for some reason, despite a total lack of rain, the entire eastside was flooded. You'd think Seattle of all places would have functional storm drains. Maybe it rained really hard while I wasn't looking or something.
Eh, whatever. I'll live.
