terryclothI got a coffee table, so that I could have something to put things on while sitting on the couch other than the couch. It wasn't one of the items that Fred Meyer would load for you, but it was too big to fit comfortably in a cart -- it could be balanced in the cart, just barely stable...
They helped me get it in the car, at least.
Putting it together was sort of like putting together a Zoid, except that Zoids don't take as much physical labor (mostly struggling with the fricking 'allen key') and Zoids generally come with all the parts you need to assemble them.
That's not quite fair -- it had all the parts, one of them just had the holes drilled in the wrong place, making it useless. So I've got a coffee table missing one of the crossbars at the top. It still works, and I'm still too lazy to go get a new one.
'Made in Indonesia'. Curse you, Indonesia.
It's also a little too big for the space I wanted to put it in, which means I had to move some things that would have been butting up against it into the space underneath it, and with the stuff that I've been keeping on the couch... well, about five minutes after putting it together it was full. Oy vey.
I'll just end with the simple facts: The ferret is black and fuzzy, except when it turns into a snake. The angel glows softly white, and has wings of steel.
