Mechassault Lust

terryclothI was stricken by it yesterday, apparently incubating since Sunday, and was forced to buy an XBox. And a bunch of games. Mechassault, Crimson Sky (I think), Voodoo Vince (which my lead recommended), Halo (of course), Knights of the Old Republic, and ordered Panzer Dragoon Orta and Altered Echo from Amazon.
Since then I've been playing KotOR and trying with all my might to stay away from dual-wielding, which I find aesthetically displeasing. They make it really hard, though -- there aren't any two-handed melee weapons, and the ranged weapons were all laughably nerfed (blaster pistols do 1d6 instead of, IIRC, 3d6).
I'm sure, though, that when I get around to actually playing Mechassault, it won't look nearly as good on my teeny TV as it did on Legend's monstrosity.
