Letting the days go by...

terryclothI'm not going anywhere for vacation. I just don't have anywhere to go in particular, and can't make myself go through the hassle of travelling to go somewhere arbitrary when I could NOT travel and be somewhere arbitrary.
I went out to buy a new DVD player today, but didn't... they were all either really cheap and by companies I didn't recognize (there was a different one by KLH, the company that made the amazing super-fast breaking one I just had) or really expensive (like, $70) by companies I'd heard of but still wasn't sure would be better. Polaroid? They make film, don't they?
On the way out of the parking lot, I was flipped off by this crazy lady who apparently was pissed that I'd made her slow down for me instead of letting her drive at full speed through a crowd of pedestrians. Or something. You'd have to be pretty crazy to get angry at someone for cutting you off in a parking lot, so maybe there's some other explanation. Maybe she hates white cars.
She KEPT flipping me off for about 30 seconds, so I stopped. She got out of her car (forcing oncoming traffic to stop for her) and started storming towards me. I drove away. That's pretty much my SOP for that.
Also, I discovered why Taco Bell brand refried beans taste so much better than the other brands -- they have onions and garlic powder in them.
And I got a second tin of cashews in the mail from an anonymous benefactor. I used to like cashews, before I started getting multiple giant tins of them every year around this time.
