I have a superpower!
Dec. 12th, 2003 10:27 amNo matter what car I drive, I can get crappy gas mileage!
I'm getting about 32 mpg with the Hybrid civic, which is a lot better than the 20 mpg I was getting with a Neon, but isn't anywhere near the 48 mpg I'm supposed to be getting. I don't *think* I'm doing anything especially horrid, but eh.
And when I check the 'instantaneous mpg' reading I'm usually hovering around 80, except when I'm at 0. Yay for useful information.
I finally got the plates and registration today, which is one more thing not to worry about... as far as I know, the only new-car-related thing I have left to do is tell the new liscence plate number to the management company at my apartment building.
It meant I didn't have time to walk, so I'll have to be sure to do it over the weekend, which shouldn't be hard since I'll be with family, and they always walk all over the place like it was going out of style.
