Live on Tape

terryclothWorking late tonight. They announced we were starting up workaholics again Monday, to the suprise of... well, no one. A lot of people were wondering why we hadn't been doing them already for the past two months, because it might have sort of helped.
I hope the VCR tapes the third part of Battlestar Galactica properly... and that the tape has enough space left for it. They're playing it again on Sunday if either of those are untrue. Although I'll have to tape it again, Sunday, since my mother is coming over (to Anna's house to dote on the baby) again this weekend.
It was so annoying! I ran out to get a new tape to tape parts one and two last night, when I realized that they were playing both, because the tape I'd been using was the much-reused tape that was kind of lacking in video quality after being taped and retaped over about 200 times (not an exaggeration -- it was the tape I used to time-shift Hamtaro, Zoids, and Buffy, back when I was watching them regularly).
I thought I had a half hour to go get the tape, and got back with five minutes to spare... but the show had already started, ten minutes early. So, so far at least, it's on the crappy tape after all. Ahwell.
Part 2 had some serious frame-rate problems in the giant space battle at the end. Did they just film an in-engine cut-scene from the game? }:)
