ToEE is being annoying, still. I might just stop playing it. I think I'm basically at the end -- I finally found the orb of golden death (which I'd bypassed accidentally earlier) which I've heard leads to the endgame, at any rate.
It's being annoying by (a) not telling me when a weapon is granting a negative level to the character wielding it, altough I should have noticed everything going down. I had to restore to an old save to not waste 54000 gold (and more than a thousand xp) upgrading it.
It's being annoying by (b) hanging randomly when I scroll the screen. I have to scroll the screen a lot. It usually, but not always, finishes doing whatever it's doing that takes 100$ of the CPU after five minutes or so, but sometimes I have to turn off the computer.
It's being annoying by (c) crashing instantly whenever I try to have my druid do anything in Wild Shape. I don't use wild shape much (they don't offer many good animals) so I didn't notice this until just now.
(b) is the killer. There's nothing I can do to avoid it, and unavoidable random crashes pretty much always make me stop playing games. They made me stop playing Pool of Radiance 2.
Maybe I'll go get KOTOR and see if it'll run on my machine. Maybe I'll go do that now, before Horatio Hornblower starts. }:P
