Not a Complete Waste of Time
Oct. 19th, 2003 11:03 pmSpent the day with family again, and although things of course went veeery veeery slowly (driving across town to the park took two and a half hours, all told, from when we started getting ready to when we arrived) we did get a nice walk in the Arboretum in, and some multiplayer Chu Chu Rocket (which infuriated me, even though I won) and Red Dog (which I lost constantly, but didn't piss me off in the process).
Mom and Aunt Annie are going to be bothering Anna and Alex all week, but I'm going back to work -- the point is to dote over the baby, and I don't need to be there for that. Theoretically I could go over after work, but I'd have like an hour from the time I could reasonably get out there (8pm) and when they start going to sleep (9pm) which is less than the travel time each way. So I'm not going to.
Afterwards, I picked up some water at the grocery store, and some chicken wings any soy milk while I was there. UGH! Vanilla soy milk is utterly undrinkable, even though I love chocolate soy milk. Luckily I had the water to wash the taste out of my mouth. @.@
