Water Worries
Sep. 30th, 2003 10:43 amI went to turn on the shower this morning, and nothing happened.
That's not exactly true -- the water stopped coming out the faucet. It just didn't start coming out the shower head.
So, with visions of water spraying all over the inside of the walls, I hurriedly turned off the water and ran downstairs... well, not quite. I got dressed, brushed my teeth, and walked downstairs to fill out a maintenance request.
Luckily, there was someone in the office, and even more luckily, it was the maintenance guy, who saw me filling out the report, listened to me describe it, and came up five minutes later to fix it. It turned out it wasn't a broken pipe or a leak or anything, just a stuck valve, and needed a replacement cheap plastic thingie.
So I was able to take a shower after all, and didn't have to spend the day all stinky.
