Jul. 9th, 2003 02:42 pmA group of people are lost in a park as night falls, trying to find the way to their cabin, where they'll be warm and safe and happy. Unfortunately, they're tied together by short ropes, blindfolded, and disagree over where the cabin might be located -- some say it has to be on the beach, others say it's at the top of a treacherous cliff, others want to search for it in the woods.
So you have people trying to feel their way blindly in three different directions, not to mention others who decide to instead search the ground for loose change someone might have dropped, or pick each others' pockets.
How long will it take them to find the cabin, assuming no such cabin exists?
