A walk in the park
Jun. 5th, 2003 10:26 pmAfter work today, I fled to Redmond Town Center because the weather was nice. After picking up some books, I took a walk in this cute little park nestled between the mall and the freeway. They basically put in a path and a fence in the highway margin and called it a park, but it's still fairly nice, although part of that might just be my general attraction to freeways as beauty.
Afterwards I walked back through all the parking lots, stopping in weird, poorly located shops. I found a bag of teeny tiny versions of the pastel mints my grandmother always used to give us when I was young, which are almost as good as I remember, and a comically huge bottle of 'birch beer', which is AWFUL. Dear god in heaven... I keep burping up the horrible taste.
