Wasting Time

terryclothPlayed a little xenosaga last night. At least it has save points before *and* after the 30-minute non-interactive bits.
That game... I want to find the script for that game and just edit it. Edit out all the parts where the camera focuses in on each person present individually and they speak a short phrase to agree with what three people just said, one by one.
Also got 'Dynasty Warriors 4', because I'd sort of liked the first one when I played it in a store demo years ago, and hey, if it got to the fourth in the series it must be good! And it seems pretty good, although there were some battles where the only way to win seemed to be to ignore anything like a realistic battle plan and run right through the entire enemy army so that I was positioned to take out a leader before he joined up with another leader and formed an invincible two-leader cluster. I guess if I perfected the art of 'not sucking' and could actually fight two enemy leaders at once that wouldn't be necessary.
While buying that game, I stopped at a new mom-and-pop food place at Redmond Town Center. There's a couple shops there that sort of cycle through a different restaurant every few months -- right now it's 'pasha grill', which turned out to be greek food. Too salty. I wish the mexican place that used to be there still existed...
