terryclothGot some Legions cards... you know, I was sort of okay with the idea of an all-creatures expansion, since I *do* like creatures, but none of these creatures were very interesting. Most of them seemed like a lame attempt to implement spells inefficiently while technically making them creatures. Lots and lots of Morph. I hate Morph. Mostly because I always forget it exists, especially in Apprentice.
And I didn't get the 'opponent loses' card. Sniffle.
EDIT: I also hate Morph because it was so obviously added as a competitive feature to attract Yu-Gi-Oh players. Magic shouldn't have to compete with Yu-Gi-Oh. Yu-Gi-Oh is so utterly awful that it should implode under its own worthlessness and destroy everyone who's ever touched it. Except me.
Then I played AC2. Mostly solo, although I joined up with someone waiting out front of the Kydi vault to do that vault quest. 12k XP doesn't suck, at least not at my level. Made 22.
I tried to do Akktri's Egg Collection, but the darkenfowl pens she pointed me to -- way the hell in the middle of nowhere -- had no Cthonic or Deep Darkenfowl. Just normal hens and chicks, and dozens and dozens of Mimbu. I hate Mimbu. I got an egg, but it was apparently a normal egg and she rejected it. Then I had connection issues and ended up trapped in Mayoi until I logged off.
Solo, though, I got to *actually loot enemies*, to say nothing of 'kill things my level'. So I managed to upgrade my breastplate, leggings, javelin, and sword. I also got enough cash to advance a little in armorcrafting. Weapon-crafting needs specific monster loot that I can apparently only get on Osteth -- reedshark plates and wasp stingers.
