terryclothThe DVR from comcast has always kind of sucked, but the last three programs I tried to watch through it made it hang and crash repeatedly whenever I tried to play that recording -- basically, they recorded as corrupt files. A 100% failure rate is a little higher than I'm willing to tolerate out of something like this.
Of course, my VCR's broken, and I don't even know of an alternative that works with digital cable. Media center PC? Yeeeah, I'm going to be able to set that up. Maybe a replay TV or something.
The worst part is that the last failure happened halfway through a recording, so I had just long enough to get interested and I don't know how it ends! Aieee!
