terryclothSpent last night bouncing around between all my characters (well, not ALL my characters) getting the v-day badge and toga costume piece. The only one to actually *use* the toga so far is K'teri, though, since she already had a hideous outfit that she's using to show off the christmas hat. It looks better with the toga too.
I tried to do a mission with Litany when it was her turn in the rotation, but near what I thought was the end I got a tell inviting me to a team. "Okay, in a sec, I'm almost done..." Forty five minutes later, time expired and I still hadn't found the last damn enemy (plus, there was an elevator in the warehouse, leading to another warehouse, that I hadn't expected). The person who'd invited me was no longer online, unsurprisingly.
I decided to try to rebuild my Orzhov deck to use a 'Souls of the Fallen/Pariah's Shield' combo, and also to use a lot more discard with ravenous rats in addition to the flying discard things. So far I haven't managed to get it into shape, though. I think I'm going to start over and go:
Souls of the Fallen (sucks for opponent for it to be damaged)+
Phytohydra (gets bigger when damaged)+
Will-o-the-wisp (impossible to kill)+
Pariah's Shield (hurt equipped creature instead of me)
and
Teysa (get white critters when black critters die; sac white critters to kill enemy)+
Whatsisname that gets counters when tokens die and turns them into more tokens +
Golgari Germination (get tokens when critters die) +
Nantuku Husk (randomly sac your own creatures)+
Savra (sac black criters to kill enemy)+
Gleancrawler (everything you sac goes back to your hand)+
Shambling Shell (sacs itself, can return from grave)
if I can somehow throw together a mana base to support three colors. The white 'make more white flying tokens when tokens die' guy in particular seems like he was made to go with Teysa ('sac three white critters to RFG target critter'). Might leave out some of the defenses to fit the second combo in -- some generic white-and-black creatures would go well with Teysa and Savra.
