Conifur, day 2

terryclothBought the stuffed weasel I'd claimed the day before, and put it in my pocket, where it spent the day staring at people. Also, some chocolate cookies. Also, a tail. It's a kit fox tail, but it's the right size to be an anthro ferret's tail, and about the right color. Not as soft as the red fox tails were, though.
Had 'lunch' with Tarka and Odie and Mab. And by 'lunch' I mean coffee. And by 'had' I mean 'sat nearby while they talked about art'. Cursed artists! I did end up getting some time to talk to Tarka later on, at least. And I guess I didn't really have anything to say to Mab without turning into some squealing fanboi.
Tarka is devious... he convinced Mab to have 'lunch' with him by offering to show her around, as a Gofur.
The con badge Lazar made for me turned out to be a good choice -- Adara from Spindizzy recognized me by it, somehow, despite it being of my Furrymuck character. She's cute! Too cute! Aiee!
Other than that, well, I went up to the game room and Slox and Kitsunetaur sucked me into a series of games of Magic... massive multiplayer games, with some new faces, at least. A lot of people had to borrow decks from me or Soltris. I did get to play some other games, at least -- another couple test games of Hecatomb with Soltris (he hated it, even after we sorted out the decks to try to make them more cohesive), some Diceland with Kitsunetaur.
Then I left... everything was closing and I'd forgotten to get a ticket to the ice cream social again. This makes... how many years has conifur been around? Every year in a row, so far.
I could go back tomorrow, but I think my furry con battery is drained for now.
So, will it take me longer to (a) read the fifty or so comics I bought at the con, or (b) download the ludicrous 1.6 gigabyte patch for city of heroes? Only time will tell...
