Nothin' much

terryclothAnd Lo, there was'th a story circle on Tuesday night, and a story about doomy otters was told. What a surprise! I'm kind of bummed... I completely forgot to work pizza into the story.
I did a few hollows missions with Meemie, and... she's kind of... boring? Or maybe it's just the hollows. I took a knockback power at 10th to spice things up... hmm. I guess I'll go on tonight and try to find the supergroup and do... stuff...
Litany got to 22 (finally!) and took stamina, which isn't too impressive unslotted, and slotted up hasten with SOs so it's mostly-perma. That took all her money, of course, and she could only afford four. Pity it'll have to be respecced away as soon as I6 comes out, in like a week or two... the SO recharges will still be useful, though.
In the process, I saw the sad state to which tanks have been reduced in I5. That is, I finally saw a tanker trying to attract aggro with taunt and the like. He died a lot, even with multiple healers and all kinds of defendery stuff swirling around him. And he didn't hold aggro well, even while he was alive. I5 has already killed tanks, and I6 will just be spitting on the grave of the archetype.
Scrappers, too... aside from regen scrappers, which at least get their own extra version of stamina, and aside from the mez protection (which *is* significant against certain enemies) scrappers aren't really any more survivable than blasters. Scrappers get something like 60% damage mitigation tops (dropping to 50% in I6), while blasters get powerful Alphas and toned-down controllery stuff like holds and slows and knockdowns. Oh, and more powerful melee attacks. }:P
So scrappers are now gimped blasters, and tanks are gimped scrappers. Blasters, of course, are gimped defenders. }:P
And here I am brooding about all the nerfs instead of working, again. Bad!
I've also started watching the old Full Metal Alchemist, subbed version, since I never really followed season 1 that closely until near the end when it started to get interesting. With some of the revelations that've come already from season 2, rewatching the first few has some insights. I can't believe I never realized that #### was really ######'s ######!
And still waiting for this stupid cold to finish going away. All that's left are sniffles, but sniffles are gross and messy. Bleargh.
