Circle and Clothing

Well, the story circle last night was doing Part II of the one I got kicked off during the middle of last time. Normally I'm leery of Part IIs, but it was at a good break-point where we could sort of tell a different story... although we didn't really finish it this time either, so it looks like there'll be a Part III.
Walksfar was participating this time (and the time before, too, IIRC) and he still annoys me just as much as he always did back in the day, even though he's stopped doing all the specific things I used to hate. Maybe it's just love at first sight.
During the circle I was fiddling with ITunes, and decided to try changing its working directory. This worked out better than I'd expected -- it put the NEW songs in the new directory, while keeping the old ones in the old directory and still keeping track of them, which means I have another 6 gigs to fill with ripped CDs now, before I have to take the plunge and switch the computer the iPod talks to. Which I'm not entirely sure is possible, given its limited battery life.
"Everything to Everyone" by the Barenaked Ladies is a really good CD, with lots of really interesting songs. Especially "Aluminum", "Postcard", and "Celebrity". I thought I should mention that. The other CDs made the cut, but weren't as cool.
After that, some CoH, with Cinammon for a change. Wow, blasters sure kill a lot faster than earth controllers, even earth controllers with containment, AM, EF, Assault, and a three-slotted pet. O.o There was a kind of sucky pick-up-group in the middle of it (which was nice to break things up) but mostly I was doing the level 30 'unlock SO store, unlock auras, get a new costume' quests.
I used the free re-costuming we inexplicably got with I5 (it's not like there were new costume options, 'least not that I noticed -- those came with I4) to make the third costume into a 'powered up super-cinnamon' form, with blue skin and subtle flames. It looks pretty good -- one of the best-looking costumes I've designed (normally, I just hit random until I see something that looks good).
But it made me really want to get Zakkye up to 30 so that I could give him his glowing purple aura. How can you be a warp-aci without a glowing aura?!
