Laundry. Yay!

terryclothDue to an imminent rupture in the filthy underwear containment unit, which had been held back for the last several days by jury-rigged stopgap measures (I piled a bunch of stuff on top of it to keep the lid from popping off), I decided it was time to do the laundry. This is the first time I've done it since they installed the new smart-card enabled machines.
The new machines are more convenient, unless you have to run all the way downstairs to put more money on the card because you didn't realize that they were also so much more *expensive*... the stupid dryers still don't actually dry your clothes, though. I considered giving it another hour of drying, but that would have cost another $2.50 and, well, the laundry room closes at 10pm, and it was already 9pm.
Although there were some foreign girls chatting with each other in foreignese (I think it was spanish), who seemed to be just starting a load. Maybe they ignore the sign -- I mean, it's not like there's actually someone from management on-site after 6pm to lock it up.
