Altered Echo and Unlimited Saga

terryclothAltered Echo is a game for the X-Box. It involves running around and fighting things. That's pretty much it. It seems like a well-done game, but I'm having trouble getting into it...
Unlimited Saga is, one must presume, some sort of role playing game, but I think they went a little overboard in the 'making it incomprehensible' department. Say you want to wander through a forest, fighting monsters, and gathering treasure. Yay! The first mission has you doing just that! But, wait, how do you open a treasure chest? Oh, of course, you go into the action menu, select the treasure chest from the abstract list of 'things in the room', then select... I haven't figured out that next step.
Dekk suggested that the reason the maintenance people aren't finishing the work in my bathroom is that they want me to leave. I hope he's wrong, even if I *have* been considering moving out.
