Dun dun duuuun!
Mar. 31st, 2012 10:54 amIn today's My Little Pony, it becomes abundantly clear that whoever wrote this episode doesn't know how to write amusing lines for the Cutie Mark Crusaders. Almost everything they said was yawn-inducingly horrible.
So it's a good thing that this was a Diamond Tiara episode. Wow, Diamond Tiara is an *effective manager*. Maybe her special talent is bossing people around, instead of being useless and rich like everyone assumed? That's probably Silver Spoon's thing. Silver Spoon: not in this episode. BURN!
Actually, I'm pretty sure her special talent is 'being a supervillain' just like her dad. But, you know.
"Can't you see it was an invasion of privacy? Just like when I went through your bags, you didn't like that, did you?"
I also noticed that Snips and Snails were talking about a mysterious condition out of sight around a corner, and it *wasn't* a double entendre. I mean, I'm sure it was *possible* to make up something dirty about it but it didn't sound dirty. How did they manage that?
Celestia's look when she was caught eating cake was pretty funny. Although I bet she set that up -- she tries really hard to maintain her harmless everypony facade, after all.
Anyway, I liked the episode overall, I just didn't like it when the Cutie Mark Crusaders were going on and on about their cutie marks. 9.9 Ugh.
