terrycloth: (d20)
Friday night we played a little Shadake, until Lazar decided that there was no way we could lose and decided to summarize the rest of the game.

game summary )

Me: "...you promised *not* to destroy the world, Lazar. We were going to set the next game in this world."
Lazar: "Well, we didn't say it couldn't be set in the past. You've got a thousand years to work with!"

The Green Dragon is here! And they know we're here! Worse, they know we know they're here!

They must be one of the plague ships the merchant-marine chatter was talking about. Hopefully this means our altercation with them will give us some credibility with the locals. Unless simply being near them will make us pariahs intead -- we would certainly be very suspicious of any ship that had survived an encounter with the Green Dragon.

Maybe we can still hide? There are plenty of moons and planets with rock or ice in this system. Maybe we managed to scavenge enough materials to repair our critical systems while the CEC fleet does its inspection.

The only silver lining is that, depending on the interpretation of certain fetishes, we *did* score with Cadence.
