Beeeerrries

When I play the same game a lot, I tend to have dreams about it. Usually, role playing game dreams are kind of fun, but sometimes, they'll focus in on some mechanical and repetitive part of the game and turn into a hybrid video-game fantasy/anxiety dream.

Like planting berries.

I had a dream that I'd shown up late for school at the end of the school year after never having attended, naked (like normal), but *in addition* I had dozens of pokemon-style berry patches to harvest and re-plant before the tests started, because the tests would last long enough that the berries would die if I skipped them. And as time went on and I went from patch to patch, the berries kept getting larger and larger and the soil to bury them in dryer and harder to dig... until just before I woke up I was burying a mushroom cap 'berry' the size of my head in what was basically sandstone.

Then I woke up, and hurried to go get my pokemon game so that I could water my berries that had been drying out dangerously overnight.
