Glowbugs!

Chapter 4 of glowbugs, in which the glowbugs finally make their debut.

This chapter was annoying to write. I wrote it out twice and had to start all over -- the first time because it'd dissolved into a Q+A session of unimaginable length and tedium, the second because I'd tried to be artsy and gimmicky and hadn't managed to really pull it off at all.

So I decided to start a little earlier, and get most of the exposition out of the way from the viewpoint of some totally different characters. By the time I'd finished with that, the chapter was over, and I hadn't even gotten to the very first scene from the first two tries.

So, er, I guess chapter 4 wasn't really that hard to write -- chapter *5* was, and I still haven't done it yet. But hey, free exposition!
