Well, maybe I can't get cable internet either?
I tried to sign up for it Thursday, and they asked for a day and time for them to come install it, so I picked Saturday from 8am-noon. Or maybe it was to phone and make an appointment to install it... at any rate, something was supposed to happen. So I spent all morning waiting around NOT going on the internet or going and getting foor and comics or anything... and nothing happened. Of course. No one ever fucking keeps their fucking promises, least of all corporations.
I'm not cancelling it yet, though, although I don't know how they plan to ever get a phone call through to a dial-up user if they don't do it at the time I asked them to call me. Goddamn fucking incompetent useless website process crap! FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK.
Right.
So, anyway, the morning was mostly wasted, although I spent some time playing Twilight Princess. God, that game is frustrating. The controls suck so hard on the gamecube -- lots of jumping off cliffs and dropping bombs at your own feet instead of throwing them. Yay wii!
By 2pm, I figured that 'screw it, lunchtime, but I'll check e-mail first in case they sent something, and besides I should check the butterflies mail'. But some asshole sent me a humongous file in the e-mail, though, so it's still downloading, and I have no idea how long it's going to -- ah, good, the fucking huge file JUST came through. Let's see who the lucky winner of the 'I hate Terrycloth' award is? Apparently, it's my mom. Figures.
Yes, I've told her not to fucking mail me pictures, goddamnit.
