Next up: Dungeon Seige
Dec. 9th, 2005 11:05 amRemember when Dungeon Seige had amazingly good graphics? I don't think they updated them for the sequel, so they're a bit dated now. Not actively ugly, though, except for the menu screen.
Anyway, that's what I started playing next after DQ8. It's added a diablo-2 style skill tree, and one of the people in the tutorial warns you not to try to multiclass, because you'll be weak and suck -- multiclassing is still as easy as accidentally attacking with your staff instead of remembering to switch back to the spell you were casting. }:P
It's kind of weird. Most of the enemies are ludicrously weak, but scattered through them are 'boss' enemies with 5-10x the hit points and damage output. Fortuantely, you have 'powers' that let you deal 20x damage with a hit once every five minutes or so. You'd better hope they're up when the bosses come 'round...
