Sunday, we had a session of Tom's game. Ed was missing this time. We mostly went up against more traps. Sooo many traps... but eventually we got to the treasure chamber they were guarding.

That's where we stopped, since Tom hadn't generated the books in the library yet. Josh remarked that with all these evil artifacts, it was a real shame they couldn't just have an artificer disenchant them for crafting XP. "That's an Eberron-only thing, though."

"Well you know, Astral Projection is a necromancy spell. We could use the cube to travel to Eberron, and have them all disenchanted."

No one else thought that was a good idea, though. }:P

The third harry potter movie was superior to the first two because it had more ferrets in it. Unfortunately, they were dead.

Goblet of Fire didn't have as many ferrets, but they were alive, and one of them was even evil. This makes it the best harry potter movie to date!

I saw it Saturday night... Sunday, at Legends, he was showing the third one, and I watched a little of it, but mostly I was just playing magic and stuff.

Did some trading with Lexx... he wanted my Circu, Glimpse, and doubling season, and didn't have anything I *really* wanted, so I settled for a Razia, a Wrath of God, and two each of watchwolf and lightning helix. Then he offhandedly traded me a couple Aether Vials for some other dimirish milling-ish uncommons.

Morphy: "You do know the Glimpse is worth $20, right?"
Me: "... no, I didn't. Ah, whatever. I'd never have played with it anyway."

Anyway, curious as to how badly I'd messed up the trade, I went online to check prices. I couldn't find a price for Doubling Season, which might mean that it's hideously valuable beyond all reason, but if that's not the case, it looks like I actually came out about even -- the rares are worth about half as much ($10 for wrath, $5 for razia), but Lightning Helix is *$5* and Aether Vial is *$10*. WTF?

Doesn't Lightning Helix come in the precon? I guess absolutely everybody wants a playset...
