games of course, what else is there?
Sep. 16th, 2005 10:40 amI really wanted to get K'teri up to 32 last night, but Victory went down (or something) after one mission, so I had to switch to Cinnamon on Protector.
The first battle was really embarassing -- I hit the key to earthquake the group (on Cinnamon, this is buildup) then the key to lingering radiaion (on Cinnamon, this is blaze), then ran up and hit the key to flurry (on Cinnamon, this is fireblast). Buildup+blaze+fireblast actually killed the target, so it wasn't as embarassing as it could have been, but it took a little while to adjust and I was disoriented through the rest of that fight.
I was in a group of three -- small groups play better than big ones (or soloing), especially after I5 -- and it had to be the most annoying group possible that size. There was the spines scrapper with quills up (Brek.. brek... brek...), me with chilling embrace (fwwwwweeeeeooooeeeee), and a sonic defender covering our screens with flickering lights that I have to assume do not *actually* cause epilepsy.
Made 30th (and took grant invis, since I might as well go for phase shift, even if the rest of stealth is nerfed), then logged off to work on magic decks. Put ronin warclubs (Slox's suggestion), crafty pathmages (instead of minamo sightbenders) and clones (instead of shuriken) in the ninja deck -- the first two at least seem to be good changes; the third, well, we'll see. The thought is 'targetted destruction against legendary things', but clones have, in my experience, just been genereally neat and useful creatures.
