I went to the story circle last night, since apparently it happened the week before and I missed it, figuring Tarka'd given up on it. Turns out he was just absent that one day due to work troubles. Or so he says.

Anyway, we did a disaster story about Spindizzy using all people we knew as characters. Which I think is a bad idea in general, but it didn't go as horribly as I expected.

Afterwards, I got on EQ2 and spent most of the night making carbon ink so that I could make some combat arts to level up as an alchemist. My palladium didn't sell for a platinum, but someone else's did. Boggle! Well, maybe they just stopped selling it, I guess. Later, harvesting in the Eternal Gorge, I found two more rares - a dandelion fiber (for rare cloth armor, I suppose?) and a sparklink flower. The RNG works in mysterious ways, I suppose...

Amusingly, if you try to get the in-game time in the Eternal Gorge (which is supposed to be a failed attempt to go back in time to find Zarvonn, the original necromancer -- I'm guessing the 'epic' option is the successful attempt), it reports that it's the year 0. I'm stealing rare minerals from my ancestors! Nya ha ha!
