The work I'm doing right now is pretty easy, but it's boring and repetitive. Doing 'X' the first few times was okay, especially since it also meant playing around with subclassing in C++ and the like, which is frustrating and perverse, but not something I do often.
Now, though, I'm getting on towards my second dozenth subclass doing 'X' for a slightly different 'Y' and it's getting tedious, even though (or perhaps especially because) most of the work in each case can be skipped because it's done by the subclass I'm subclassing off of.
So... boring... x.x
I *almost* beat Minish Cap last night, but I died against the final form of the boss, because I didn't expect there to be yet another final form and didn't hunt around for fairies to refill my hearts and bottles, and went into the fight with two and a half hearts and both bottles empty. Now to get back to that final final final boss fight, I have to refill my life, bottles, and rupees, and then fight back through three timed segments (yes, if you take too long against the enemies the third bell tolls before you go through the door) and two boss fights! Argh!
So, er, yeah, I might just say I more-or-less finished the game, and move on, like I often do when I lose the final boss fight (or the game crashes during the final boss fight, like Jak 3).
Probably go back to the newest Spyro, or Xenosaga 2. Or else just sit around feeling all ennuid like I did last night.
