There was a power outage on the way to work today -- all the big, heavy traffic intersections along 148th had no power to the traffic lights, which meant people trying to figure out how to work a four-way stop with twelve total lanes, four of which were left turn... there wasn't much danger of an actual collision, of course, since everyone was accelerating from a stop, but there was an awful lot of honking and cursing going on, as people tried to 'sneak' through out of turn (using the 'if you can go at the same time as someone else at a 4-way stop, then you should' rule, which works a lot better when there aren't twelve lanes).
I've been getting into Sly Cooper 2. And also getting frustrated with it. After six tries, I finally finished the 'bug the tiger's office with a water-bug' mission, and on the way back to the hideout tried to bring back the object-de-art located nearby... except that to get back to the hideout, I had to go right past another mission trigger, and when I triggered the mission the treasure was automatically discarded. NOOOOOO!
It's really, really hard to get back to the hideout on this level (the third real level, going after the clockwork heart) without alerting the guards, since there's about six of them clustered under the hideout, guarding the single bounce-mushroom that can get you back up there.
