Last night we had a session of the 1890 GURPS campaign. Snowwy didn't show up, but his character was missing anyway, so that sort of worked out for the best. We spent the night looking for him, and vanishing one by one, then messed around and never got around to actually rescuing him. Maybe we'll do it next week!

Next week, we'll hopefully have Snowwy back. And Stacey joining us, although I don't know as what. Maybe we'll even get around to rescuing Snowwy's character?

In their neverending quest to find ways to annoy and harass their tenants, the new management company decided to install a sealant on the parking lot this weekend. Half today, the other half tomorrow. Apparently, the sealant takes about 24 hours to apply and set, because the half being sprayed right now will be ready for use at 8am tomorrow. About an hour before the half that everyone's trying to park in currently goes off limits.

Today, it's already a mess. There are people camping out in lawnchairs while their family goes out to get food, people double parking, people parking along the sides of the lot in places where there aren't any spaces, and someone parked in the loading/unloading zone for the past couple hours. Needless to say, I don't plan to move my car until tomorrow at 8am, when I'll have to spring out of bed early and go move it so it doesn't get towed.

Argh.

The nearest public parking lot that doesn't have a 'you will be towed!' sign in it is for the strip mall a couple blocks away -- about a fifteen minute walk. That's my emergency backup plan in case I don't get a space after the meet tomorrow, which seems likely. My non-emergency backup plan is to park in a visitor's space in one of the other apartment complexes nearby. }:P
