Went to the gathering yesterday. Since AC was on, I didn't think there'd be as many people there, so I only showed up a half hour early instead of the normal hour, but no one was there yet. They arrived before I finished eating, at least.

Talked with people, played a little magic... eventually everyone headed out to Marymoor park for Firebringer's birthday party. She'd run around inviting everyone at the meet. There was a grill there, but almost everyone had already eaten, and for a while it looked like it'd go unused, but eventually, after a few hours, some people got hungry and ate the food, so it didn't go to waste.

We played a little Bocci Ball (only one game, but it seemed to go on FOREVER -- is it meant to be played on a field full of molehills?) and then started a big magic game, much to Firebringer's dismay. We didn't spend *all* the time there on magic, though. For once. Well, Slox did. The rest of us sat around throwing sticks at each other and badmouthing people who didn't show up. <.< >.>

From there I took a carload of people back to Lexx's. Grayfox wanted to stop at the grocery store to get some pop, so the rest of us wandered around looking for Odwalla -- a new Goat and Tiger I hadn't met before were addicted to it. But not addicted enough to actually BUY it, apparently they just wanted to see it in its case and complain about the price (which at $2.50 was as cheap as I'd ever seen it).

Gray was a little impatient by the time we got back; it'd taken us two circuits around the store to find the little Odwalla case.

Over at Lexx's we snuggled and stuff, and someone put on Anti-Trust, which basically no one watched. I think I accidentally gave Kitsunetaur a hickey while pretending to rip out his throat. o.o; I didn't know that's how it worked! Honest!

Then I annihilated Slox's black deck a couple times with elves (his deck is extremely unhappy against artifact destruction) so he switched to his red mostly-creatureless deck for the multiplayer game, and proceeded to complain incessantly about everyone ganging up on him, and eventually resign just after, out of frustration with him destroying every artifact in my Affinity deck with his annoying buyback-shatterpulse, I reshaped my last artifact into an indestructible land.

The next game, I played my Rite of Passage deck, and got the RoP/RoP/Trisk combo out early -- only to have it Orim's Chanted while it was still too hurt to kill everyone. It took a LOOOONG time for me to get another Triskelion, but using the power of Well of Lost Souls (draw a card when you gain a life) + Sun Droplet (gain your life back at the rate of one per upkeep when you take damage) I got it about one turn before Slox's pair of rampaging 65/65 war elementals got around to taking me out.

But then it was 2am, so time to go home. There was some confusion over whether Omen (who changed his name to something I don't remember) was staying over or I'd have to take him back to somewhere in the wrong direction, but eventually it worked out that he was, so the only person I had to take home was Kitsunetaur. The 520 bridge was closed, which made that not quite as on the way as it normally would be, but I got home by 3am.

Before crawling into bed, I saw a message light blinking on my answering machine, and rather than being the normal telemarketer crap it was my sister, telling or asking me... something... that I couldn't make out, because it was all scratchy (from a cell phone?) and she talks really quietly. I tried to call her back this morning to ask what she'd said, but she wasn't home. The only words I could make out were the last few, which were '...but it's not a big deal if you can't,' so it's probably not a big deal.
