Peer Pressure
Jun. 23rd, 2004 10:20 amI just want to thank everyone who insisted that I get City of Heroes, even though my computer didn't meet the minimum requirements. My computer doesn't meet the minimum requirements, so it doesn't run. Thank you so much for convincing me to waste $50 and a couple hours verifying that. }:P
Actually, I suppose I could sell the account to someone, or something, since they appear to be transferrable. Or wait 'till I get a new computer, although I'm *really* thinking of just giving up on PC gaming entirely and sticking to consoles.
I also bought a bunch of sleeves to put my magic decks in, since some of the cards I traded for were in pretty sad condition. NOTE: My own cards, which were played with a lot and never sleeved, are just fine, but the cards I trade for from people who sleeve their decks compulsively are all scudged up. Go figure.
I don't think it's the sleeves themselves that are responsible for that, though, I blame the 'cards scattered all over the floor' bit.
"Dead Like Me" came in the mail yesterday, and I watched the pilot last night. It looks pretty cool, and it's actually about the afterlife. Sort of. All the characters insist that they're *un*dead.
