While reading the Onion this week, I noticed, thanks to a banner ad, that I'd gotten the wrong DVD -- I hadn't been wanting to get '6 feet under', I'd been wanting to get 'Dead Like Me', which is *actually* about the afterlife. So I ordered the DVD set for DLM to fix that.
Now, as for '6 feet under', I think I'll probably watch the rest of it -- it's not very supernatural, but it's sometimes surreal, which is good enough. I just wish it was stranger.
My sister's asking me to take care of her dog and cat again this coming weekend. It's a long drive, but I think I can combine at least one of the trips with something I was doing anyway. Although it's still in the wrong direction.
Saturday is looking like a day of not much freedom to act, though: I need to pick up comics at 10, check on the dogs in the morning, be at home from noon 'till six in case they decide to paint the door then (instead of painting it Friday when I'm gone, like they did the priming), then go check on the dog again. Of course, it's not like there's anything I'd do that doesn't involve sitting at home anyway.
