Or at least the people in it. And not for a very good reason. Some dickhead from the phone company lurked right in front of the door when I was trying to get out so that he could shove his way in past me without bothering to call the manager or the person he was there for... I'm pretty sure he was actually from the phone company, since he had a big van with phone company markings on it, but it's still pretty rude to literally force your way through a locked door.

He also threatened me when I tried to close the door on him. Although I suppose I was actually trying to close it *on* him, since he'd already pushed me aside and was halfway through, so he had some justification for getting angry. I tried to report him to the manager, but the office was dark and locked, because, you know, 10am isn't business hours. Or something.

Then driving to work I had the usual assortment of idiots and maniacs.

Today was my Monday (formerly Tuesday) D+D game. The party decided to tackle the cleric's quest first, which led them through a dangerous part of the abandoned mage city and into... a Library. Of doom.

game summary )

Luis' connection was really, really, really bad. Next week he's going to try a long-distance conference call... maybe then we'll at least be able to hear him.

The monsters this week were mostly constructs and elementals, so the rogue-based people (Luis playing Abbey and Simon playing Samrat) weren't the happiest campers in the world.

And I had (and still have) a horrible headache through the whole thing. Maybe it's from chewing on a bit of what used to be a pen cap all day. v.v
