No, I'm not really an orren...
Jul. 11th, 2003 10:09 amStill, yay! They opened the pool again at my apartment building! Apparently the scary 'never use the pool again ever or you'll be evicted' was just for the winter months after all.
Also, it opens at 9am, which means I can take a swim before work, which I did today. Hot shower -> cold pool -> hot shower is quite pleasant, although water dripping everywhere could be a problem if I decided to do this regularly. Although it's heavily chlorinated water, so it shouldn't actually lead to mildew or anything, right?
Swimming seems like it might be a good way of getting exercise... it makes my heart race without actually causing my muscles and joints to feel like they're about to explode, unlike most other forms of excercise (except for walking, which kills my feet).
It'd probably get boring and awful if I tried to do it every day, though, just like everything else in the world.
