Oh no!

I took the day off because my mom's flying in today, but I found out this morning that not only is she flying in after I'd have gotten off work anyway, but she isn't going to get in touch with us until she settles in at her hotel. So I could have gone to work after all.

Horrors of horrors, I had to spend the whole day lazing around playing games. Went for a walk in the park, too... many screaming children, many young mothers, not a single adult male (I don't count) except for a gaggle of men in suits standing by a porsche in the parking lot under some power lines. Creepy.

Taco Bell for lunch. I got ripped off -- they charged me for hot and mild sauce, then didn't give me any. They charged me $0.00, but still...

Well, anyway, I'll see my mom tonight, and she's only planning to stay for the weekend so I probably won't have time to get annoyed with her. }:P She was going to come with my aunt but apparently she broke her wrist and ankle. Ouch. o.O
