Dance with the Devil

Tonight was Chris' scifi shadake game... tonight's distraction was the computer game the people in the apartment had written as a school project. They'd already turned it in, and were trying to show it off for the rest of us, but ran into a horrible crashing bug, which they fixed. But then everything else went wrong at random. They had no debugger, so Ran's player spent the whole night trying to fix the problem using printf-equivalents.
