God hates me...

Well, okay, he probably doesn't hate me hate me. But he's obviously annoyed with my whining, because every time I pray to god that a situation get better, things get worse.

For example, yesterday I prayed both that the asserts I was seeing were really all related (they weren't) and not my fault (one of them was), and later that my fix for the issue would work (it didn't, and in fact caused *more* problems, although I've resolved it since. Sort of.)

On the plus side, praying in Hebrew doesn't seem to have the same effect. Otherwise I'd be dead three times over in plane crashes.

Maybe I just have to be more careful which god I pray to?

On a completely separate note, the best music I've found for calming frustration and increasing productivity is... Metallica.

When will the shopping stop...

Right now we're SUPPOSEDLY playing a role playing game... but it's a shopping trip and the GM just WON'T LET IT GO. He's going around and hassling the players and making us buy stuff, and making us haggle in character for stuff whose value we have no way of judging since he's making it up on the spot...

...gah...
